"Flipping" Over Flip Albums

Album Front Cover

Page 3

I used the same format for the album as I did from the Prima Romance Flip Album post from March 6th.  This entire album is created from the "Secret Garden" collection from Graphic 45.  Most of the pages were constructed from the 8" paper pack, but some of the larger tags were cut from 12" pages.    With spring just around the corner (even though I have on good authority the groundhog LIED!), these papers are a pleasant relief from the dreariness of winter.  For my cover, I used a combination of blues & lavender to accent one of the smaller secret garden prints.  Using the chipboard shapes adds extra depth & dimension.  I also used pop dots on parts of the banner to achieve the same result.

Wrinkled seam ribbon is one of my latest obsessions!  I've used it as my tie closure & on some of the pages to create a vine/leaf type look.  I would love to have every color of the rainbow of this luscious ribbon.  It's so easy to make with a spritz of water & glimmer mist.  Scrunch & dry--what could be easier or more beautiful?

The design of this paper collection is based off the book, The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett.
There are many passages from the book hidden inside my album.  Takes me back to childhood, that's for sure!
